Yamaha continue to lead sales in the category of motor sport by scoring as many as 38 183 unit sales in April.
Yamaha V-Ixion continue to be the best selling motor sport in Indonesia. Based on data from AISI (Association of Indonesian Motorcycle), there is an increase in sales of V-Ixion in April as many as 10 percent, from 22 886 units to 25 097 units.
In addition to V-Ixion, motor Byson contributed 11 975 units and 1111 units of Scorpio. A year earlier in the month of April 2011, V-Ixion sold 18 903 units, meaning there is a 33 percent increase compared to April of this year.
Total sales of Yamaha sports segment from January to April this year there were 139 583 and V-Ixion unit accounted for 88 221 units, Byson 47 200 units and 4162 units of Scorpio. There is increasing 33 percent over the same period last year.
